But he refused, and in no uncertain terms told me that I would receive no refunds, but "politely" invited me to return inside and try to enjoy my time with them. I told the assumed persuader in charge that even though I appreciated the courtesy of his intimidation, I preferred to speak to the manager. The attendant in the entrance booth decided to have me speak to the person in charge after I requested to speak to the manager because of her refusal to address my issues, and she sent for a security guard, and three other security guards, a move that would have made any dictator proud. After he decided to end his circular argument, out of exhaustion or oppressed by the humidity, he made it look as if he was doing us a favor by facilitating us an inner tube large enough to be used by a Sumo wrestler in comfort, which could not be safely used by my daughters, per the staff at the rides! At this point I decided to leave, but not before going to get a refund. I asked a staff member about it and he told me that the rides could be enjoyed without the tubes, but we were denied access when we attempted to do so, and then I asked where we could get the tubes, and were told that there were not enough because there was large group that came the day before and some tubes were damaged (?!), and reaffirmed us again that we needed the tubes to ride the water slides, but that we could find some tubes if we were eager enough or had been there earlier, but that some rides were designed to use without them, blah, blah, blah. Hold on a second, where are the tubes to ride the rides? Not enough for all the people in the park, and it was not even close to full. Ah, the expectation to spend a beautiful vacation day with my kids and the excitement in their faces. And so, I decided to take my daughters to a water park in Puerto Rico.
